ICT and Computing
In ICT we teach children how to use computers and other technological aids, e.g. cameras, beebots and listening stations. ICT skills are taught as a discrete subject and as a means of supporting other areas of the curriculum. The children are encouraged to communicate ideas and information in a variety of forms, and where appropriate use equipment and computer software to enhance learning. The school is Internet linked.
We teach the children e-safety using the CEOP resources and PSHCE. We ask all parents to sign an acceptable use policy on behalf of themselves and their children.
The school website is used to share what we have been learning and will be learning in school and also has useful links for parents. In Key Stage 1 Maths homework is set through the My Maths website and all children are given a log on when they join the school.
