If you would like more information regarding the Bikeability courses, please click on the following links to The Bikeability Trust’s website:
Level 1: cycle control skills and group riding skills in the playground.
Level 2: road riding skills on local roads where available, being aware of hazards and making decisions. It is compulsory to have completed Level 1.
In order to participate in the Level 1/2 course your child needs to be able to ride his/her bike independently, and without stabilisers / training wheels For children who are not yet able to ride, we can provide a free Learn to Ride training session to teach them to pedal and steer their cycle in advance of the Bikeability course. This is a 90 to 120 minute session in the playground. Should you wish your child to join the Learn to Ride course please enrol them on the Level 1/2 course above but ensure that you select my child cannot yet cycle when given the option to do so.
