World Book Day
In Reception, we had great fun celebrating World Book Day. We started the day by talking in front of our friends, sharing with them who we had dressed up as. We then did an activity with Miss Guile where she made a potion. We had great fun watching the things mix and seeing the explosion! We then made skeleton pictures with Miss Benn using art straws and black paper. With Miss Nuttall, we took part in an African Jungle Dance and wrote about things we can do now.
In the afternoon, we got to share our favourite stories with our friends. We listened to the World Book Day song and some of our favourite Julia Donaldson songs. We then drew our favourite characters. We ended our day by having a year group assembly with Nursery. We hope you enjoy the pictures!
