• Sports Funding

• The PE Grant (Primary PE and Sport Premium) impacts schools by providing funding to improve the quality and breadth of PE and sport provision for all children, leading to increased pupil engagement, improved teaching skills, a wider range of sports, increased participation in competitive sport, and a greater emphasis on lifelong healthy lifestyles.

  Schools are accountable for how they use the PE and Sport Premium funding allocated to them. The Leadership Team at College Town ensures that the funding is spent for the purpose it has been provided: to make additional and sustainable improvements to the PE, sport and physical activity offered.

  As part of their role, our governors monitor how the funding is being spent and determine how it fits into school improvement plans and assess the impact it is having on pupils.
