Welcome to Ladybird Class Page.

This term we are learning all about Dinosaurs in our topic. The children will become 'dinosaur experts' as they go through Paleantologist training, learning about the Mezosoic Era and dinosaur facts. 

Our focus book for the first few weeks is called 'Oh Dear, Look What I Got' by Michael Rosen which we will ready many times to build familiarity of language and rhyme. We will then begin to explore ways we can change the story with our own ideas. 

In Phonics we have now learnt all sounds the children need to know for their Reception year. Phonics lessons will continue daily and we will keep practising and building up to reading longer words. 

A reminder that P.E is on Fridays. Children need to come to school in:
- All black trainers
- Black trousers 
- White polo or T-Shirt
- Black jacket/hoodie. 
Please can you ensure jackets/hoodies have names in as these have a tendency to go missing.
