Caterpillar Class

Welcome to the Caterpillar Class page.

This half-term our topic is All About Me.  We will be focusing on the personal, social and emotional development of every child in our setting as this underpins their personal development and supports positive attachments to shape their social world.  In doing this, we can support children to understand their own feelings and those of others.

We will be making our own self-portraits and a family book to share with our friends and encourage discussions.  We will also be exploring the environment, looking after our garden area and planting, along with cooking.

Reminders:

Please could you ensure that your children bring the following named items each day to nursery:

• named water bottle
• named sun hat
• lunch boxes, if required (with cool pack inside)
• change of clothes/nappies or pull ups (all named)
• outdoor clothing to support the weather (all named)
• please apply sun cream before school
