Caterpillar Class

Welcome to the Caterpillar Class page.

This half-term, we are excited to begin our new topic all about animals!  The children will have wonderful opportunities to become pretend vets in our role-play area, caring for the soft toy pets and learning how to help animals stay healthy.  They can take the dogs for a walk, practise being gentle and responsible pet owners, and share real life stories about their own pets at home.

We will continue learning fascinating facts about different animals from around the world – where they live, what they eat, and how they grow.  Our classroom will even transform into a fun safari adventure, where the children can explore, imagine and discover amazing wild animals together.

We can't wait for all the learning and excitement ahead!

Reminders:

Please could you ensure that your children bring the following named items each day to nursery:

• named water bottle
• named hats, gloves and scarves
• lunch boxes, if required (with cool pack inside)
• change of clothes/nappies or pull ups (all named)
• outdoor clothing to support the weather (all named)
• please apply sun cream before school
