Red Kite

Hello!

We've already been working really this term, improving our maths skills by practising our fluency with adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. In English, we read 'The Flood' at the beginning of term, then 'Paradise Sands', which we wrote our own prequels to. Our teachers were very impressed with our creative writing skills and are enjoying currently reading our fantastic work on 'The Promise'.

We enjoyed Camo day earlier in the term, where we dressed up in camo and soldier outfits and had lots of fun completing tasks outside. Thanks to Willow's dad, who came in to tell us all about the ways soldiers can camoflage themself and his friend who taught us drills.

Our school trip to Milestones museum was so much fun; we learnt lots about World War 2 and have been using this knowledge in class to make our own propaganda posters and write diary entries as refugees.

In science, we went outside to classify leaves and did an experiment to see how different kinds of microbes behave.

PE has been really fun as well, we're getting really good at Tag Rugby!

Our teachers this term are Mrs Shay on a Monday - Wednesday, Mrs Gordon-Jones on Wednesday - Friday.
