Badger
Last week
It's the last week of Year 2. I can't believe that it is nearly over. It has been so lovely teaching all of you this past year. I hope you have learned lots and are excited about moving onto Year 3. Isn't it lovely that you will have Mrs Salter again? This week we will be doing lessons in a slightly different way. You will be using what you have learned in Maths to help you win at Snakes and Ladders and in English you will write an acrostic poem using your own name. As well as this, you will write a story inspired by an exciting picture. I won't tell you anything that you need to include - apart from full stops, capital letters, correct spelling, exclamation marks, question marks and expanded noun phrases. Apart from that, it's entirely up to you what you write!!!
Enjoy your last week.

Reminders
PE will be on a Thursday afternoon again from now on, so come to school ready for lots of exercise and fun. Remember the PE kit is a plain white T shirt or the school PE top and plain black shorts or tracksuit bottoms and plain black trainers.
You will also visit the library on Thursday afternoons from now on as well, so remember to bring in your library book on Monday and choose a lovely new book to take home and share with your parents.
Please remember to bring your reading book and diary to school every day, so that we can hear your lovely reading.
Drinking lots of water throughout the day is really good for you and helps your brain when you are learning, so don't forget to bring in a named water bottle every day. Everyone in school looks really smart in their College Town Primary School uniforms, but they are all the same, so make sure yours has your name on it.
Thank you.
