Badger
Spring 2
I hope you have had a lovely weekend. This week in English you will be writing your own version of "Tadpole's Promise" using your own animals. Poor frog, sitting waiting for his Rainbow, not realising that he'd eaten her. I wonder what will happen at the end of your stories.
In Maths you will be going back over the things you have already learned since coming back to school after Christmas. These are multiplication and division, mass, volume and capacity, temperature, length and height.
In the afternoons this week you will be learning about the United Kingdom, the four countries that make it, their capitals, rivers, highest mountains etc.

Reminders
PE will be on a Monday afternoon from now on, so come to school ready for lots of exercise and fun. Remember the PE kit is a plain white T shirt or the school PE top and plain black shorts or tracksuit bottoms and plain black trainers.
You will also visit the library on Monday afternoons from now on as well, so remember to bring in your library book on Monday and choose a lovely new book to take home and share with your parents.
Please remember to bring your reading book and diary to school every day, so that we can hear your lovely reading.
Drinking lots of water throughout the day is really good for you and helps your brain when you are learning, so don't forget to bring in a named water bottle every day. Everyone in school looks really smart in their College Town Primary School uniforms, but they are all the same, so make sure yours has your name on it.
Thank you.
