Red Kite

Hello!

Welcome back to a brand-new term, Year 6! We hope you all managed to get plenty of rest over the holidays and enjoyed a well-earned break (even if some of you are still waking up at “holiday time”). It’s been lovely to see everyone back in class, ready to learn, chat, and jump straight back into school life.

This term is packed with exciting topics. In gymnastics, we’ll be tackling Parkour, so expect lots of jumping, rolling and creative movement (controlled and safe, of course!). In science, we’re exploring Animals, Including Humans, finding out how our amazing bodies work. Geography will be shaking things up as we learn about earthquakes and other natural disasters—no actual earthquakes in the classroom, we promise.

A quick reminder that Parents’ Evening is coming up soon, and more details will follow shortly. Please remember to keep on top of homework, and parents, please continue to read regularly with your children—it really does make a huge difference.
