Red Kite

Welcome back!

The last term of Year 6 already! We hope you have had a fantastic, restful Easter and are ready for school to begin again. It's finally stopped raining for a few days, so we look forward to spending some more time outside while we can! One more term, but a very busy one! SATs are in a few short weeks. The children have worked so hard this year and we have seen so much progress. We are incredibly proud of how well they are doing and are excited to see them through this final chapter in their primary school days.

We still have lots going on in the curriculum this term, with rounders in PE, learning all about light and reflection in science and the Sikh Empire in history. We're also reading a brilliant book by Frank Cottrell Boyce called 'The Unforgotten Coat' in English.

As the days get warmer and brighter, please remember to make sure the children are staying safe in the sun with water bottles, sun hats and sun cream.

Please remember to keep on top of homework, and parents, please continue to read regularly with your children—it really does make a huge difference.
