Badger
Summer 2
I hope you had a lovely weekend and had fun. There is lots happening this week which I think you will enjoy. In English you will be carrying on with "Lizzy and the Cloud" which you have enjoyed so far. There is a new topic in Maths - position and turn. We can do lots of fun, practical activities to help you learn this important skill - knowing your left and right helps you find your way to exciting places. In the afternoons you will be learning about a famous artist called Andy Goldsworthy and preparing resources to make your own piece of art in his style. This week you will also be going to your Year 3 class and meeting your teacher - which is very exciting.
Don't forget to bring your library book in on Thursday. Although you will still be visiting the library on Thursday afternoons, you will no longer be able to borrow a book.

Reminders
PE will be on a Thursday afternoon again from now on, so come to school ready for lots of exercise and fun. Remember the PE kit is a plain white T shirt or the school PE top and plain black shorts or tracksuit bottoms and plain black trainers.
You will also visit the library on Thursday afternoons from now on as well, so remember to bring in your library book on Monday and choose a lovely new book to take home and share with your parents.
Please remember to bring your reading book and diary to school every day, so that we can hear your lovely reading.
Drinking lots of water throughout the day is really good for you and helps your brain when you are learning, so don't forget to bring in a named water bottle every day. Everyone in school looks really smart in their College Town Primary School uniforms, but they are all the same, so make sure yours has your name on it.
Thank you.
