As a school we provide a number of learning platforms which will be invaluable to the children at this time. There will also be expectations set out on the website for daily learning and tasks from these sites will be included.

These websites are:

Bug Club (reading), Busy Things (KS1 whole curriculum), Times Table Rock Stars (times tables) and Numbots (addition and subtraction)

If your child has misplaced their login can you please email (we will do our best to reply within 24 hours)

Miss Startup (Bug Club): nstartup@collegetownprimary.com

Mrs Farrant (Busy Things): across@collegetownprimary.com

Mr Tatum (TT Rock Star/Numbots): ptatum@collegetownprimary.com

Hi Squirrels

We are pleased to hear you are all still doing well. Some of you have sent some great examples of work in, which you can now find on the website. We would love to hear from some more of you as well! Well done for keeping up with Bug Club, Rockstars and Busythings, please let us know if you would like some more times tables to practise or some more books on Bug Club.

Mrs Gordon-Jones' email address is jgordonjones@collegetownprimary.com. Mrs Faircloth's email address is senco@collegetownprimary.com

HOME LEARNING NOTICE:

For those children that have been in school this week and want to carry on with their learning at home we thought it might help to know what they have been working on in school. In English we have completed task 2  as it was a good task to complete in school, so the children can do task 1, task 3 and task 4.  In maths we have been doing a recap of addition and subtraction so they still have all 5 days of maths that they can complete if they wish. In the afternoons we have been doing Guided Reading, Sports Day and Art so they can complete any of the optional home learning tasks that they still haven’t had the opportunity to try.

On a Monday morning, all English tasks for the week will be uploaded. Some tasks may take more time than others and you may choose to split it over two days. Maths is uploaded each day and we are two weeks behind the White Rose website.

I am happy to provide feedback on any English work and any foundation work that your children have completed since April 20th. Please send to the email address above if you have any work you would like feedback on. Thank you!

Windsor Castle Trip

We had a brilliant time looking around Windsor Castle and learning all about the royal family. We even completed an activity where we all became knights and dames! Thank you so much to Miss Smith, Mrs Sykes, Mrs Jones and Mrs Henderson who all came along to help.
